21st International Geography Olympiad

Our alumnus, Ying Ho Chi Hadwin ( Class of 2024 ) recently represented Hong Kong at the 21st International Geography Olympiad held in Bangkok from 26th July to 1st August and won a bronze medal.

The competition took place at Chulalongkorn University and attracted top geography students from 46 countries and regions. The opening ceremony was honoured by the presence of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand. The event aimed to comprehensively evaluate participants' knowledge in physical and human geography, map interpretation, and field research skills.

Hadwin stood out among more than 500 students in Hong Kong to become a member of the Hong Kong delegation. Notably, he was the only team member to secure a bronze medal for Hong Kong.
