S.1 Admission Information and Procedures
Admission Briefing
- Date: 16th November 2024 (Saturday)
- Time: 2:30pm – 4:00pm
- Venues: Noble Hall and some special rooms, Ying Wa College
Admission Briefing Seat Reservation
- All seats are full and the registration has been suspended now.
- For those who have submitted the seat reservation requests, a confirmation email with details will be sent on 11th November 2024 on or before 6:00 pm. For any enquiry, please contact Miss Tsui, Student Affairs Officer, or Miss Wong, Student Admission Officer, at 2336 8838.
Application Requirements
Minimum requirements of S.1 application:
- Outstanding scholastic achievements (grade B (incl. B-/B+) or above in English, Chinese, Mathematics & General Studies); and
- Grade B or above in conduct in the second term in Primary Four as well as all terms in Primary Five.
- Good comments from class teacher/ subject teachers.
Applicants who fail to meet the application requirements will not be invited to admission interviews. The school reserves every right to grant admission interviews to applicants.

Selection Criteria
All applicants meeting our minimum requirements will be invited for the interview. Details of the interview will be sent to applicants by email.
Interview Date
Saturday, 18th January 2025. (Fallback date: Sunday, 19th January 2025)
Release of Results
All applicants shall be notified by email in March 2025.
Registration
Successful applicants shall register with the College by paying the registration fee HKD$1,180. Parents have to sign an undertaking and submit their children’s “Primary 6 Student Record Form” to the school.
Annual School Fee
The annual school fee for the academic year 2025-2026 is HKD$25,300.
Grant and Scholarship
Financial assistance is available to needy students. Scholarship will be offered to students with outstanding performance in scholastic and/or other areas.
S.1 Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program
The College has been implementing "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) measure at S1 since 2023-2024 academic year. This measure will allow our students to bring and use their own iPad during lessons under the management by subject teachers, which will enhance their learning experience and promote technology integration. Students can also conveniently use their own iPad for self-directed learning as well as collaborative learning with their peers both inside and outside the classroom.
